Children’s Easter Book Trail
Can you name the books and find the Easter icons on posters located on lampposts around the centre of Cosby?
Come and join us for our 5th Easter Trail! The trail will run continuously from Saturday 28th March – Saturday 11th April 2026. Maps can be purchased directly from the library during opening times, or you can purchase them online at the bottom of this page. Simply buy your tickets (or in this case your ticket is a map!), download the trail map and print it at home. Please select and purchase the correct amount of maps you would like – 1 ticket/map = £2 and is exchanged for 1 sweet treat and 1 entry into the prize draw.
Library opening times do vary, so why not buy you map in advance, so you have got it ready to complete for whenever you might want to use it! Easter trail maps are available to buy direct from the library or online below, from Tuesday 24th March 2026.
Top tips…
- Don’t forget to take a pencil or something to write with you!
- You may find it easier to take a clipboard or something to lean on!
- Not sure what some of the books are? All books used in the trail will be on display at the library!
- You don’t have to complete your map all at once, you might decide to do it over a few days by taking a different route to the shops or to the park.

Returning your completed maps
Hand your completed map back into the library during opening times, in exchange for a sweet treat! (Fun size treat options include: Mini M&Ms, Love Hearts, Large Refreshers chew bars in either Drumstick, cherry cola or flavours. All treats are first come, first served.) All returned maps will be entered into a prize draw, where three winners will be picked! This years prizes are:
- x1 £10 The Works gift card & Kinder chocolate bunny
- x2 £5 The Works gift card & Kinder chocolate bunny
Whilst the trail will finish on Saturday 11th April, to give you an extra chance of handing your maps back in to the library, the last date for returning maps is Monday 13th April, ready for the draw to take place on Tuesday 14th April. Maps can also be dropped in our letterbox/dropbox at the front of the building.
