Children’s Easter Book Trail – Map Download

Can you name the books, authors and find the icons on posters located on lamp posts around the centre of Cosby?

Come and join us for our 5th Easter Trail! The trail will run continuously from Saturday 28th March – Saturday 11th April 2026. Maps can be purchased directly from the library during opening times, or you can purchase them online here. Simply buy your map, download the trail map and print it at home. Please select and purchase the correct amount of maps you would like – 1 map = £2 and is exchanged for 1 sweet treat and 1 entry into our prize draw.

Library opening times do vary, so why not buy you map in advance, so you have got it ready to complete for whenever you might want to use it! Top tips…

• Don’t forget to take a pencil or something to write with you!
• You may find it easier to take a clipboard or something to lean on!
• Not sure what some of the books are? Don’t worry, there are a mixture of books aimed at primary aged children, so you may not know them all. Enjoy finding the clues, explore new books and see how may you might know! All books used in the trail will be on display at the library.
• You don’t have to complete your map all at once, you might decide to do it over a few days by taking a different route to the shops or to the park!

Returning your completed maps

Hand your completed map back into the library during opening times, in exchange for a sweet treat! (Fun size treat options include: Mini M&Ms, mini Chupa Chups Fizzy Tubes, Love Hearts, Parma Violets, large Refreshers chew bars in either Strawberry, Drumstick or Cherry Cola flavours. All treats are first come, first served. All returned maps will be entered into a prize draw, where three winners will be picked at random! This years prizes are:

• x1 £10 The Works gift card & treat
• x2 £5 The Works gift card & treat

Whilst the trail will finish on Saturday 11th April, to give you an extra chance of handing your maps back in to the library, the last date for returning maps is Monday 13th April, ready for the draw to take place on Tuesday 14th April. Maps can also be dropped in our letterbox/dropbox at the front of the building.
